Franklin Wright Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Wright (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), born in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James "Jim" Franklin Wright and Katherine "Katie" Mary MacDonald; his wife Mary Louise MacNeil; his daughter Sharon Anne; his brothers, John "Johnnie" and Edwin; and his grandson Stephen Robert (Sandy).

He is survived by : his children, James Alexander "Sandy" Wright (Viviane Landry), Dundee, Richmond Co, Edwin Stephen Wright, Port Hawkesbury, Jean Louise Wright-Popescul (Gerald Fuss), Mary Catherine Ahern (Garry), Fort McMurray and Alta; and his grandchildren, Tony Wright (Denise MacDonald), Geoff Wright (Jill Murphy), Sarah Wright (Jonas Murphy), Jennifer Ahern (Dan Anctil), Elizabeth Ahern (Malcolm Phillips), Jonathan Ahern (Ashleigh Gauthier) and Stephen Ahern. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
