It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria J. Hayes (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Langille and Mildred Langille (Levy); her brothers, Walter Langille and Wayne Langille; her former life partner Roderick Hayes; her grandchildren, Roderick Hayes and Courtney Gloria Bell; her sister-in-law Mary "Toots" Proctor; and her nephews, Brian Langille and Robert Langille.

She is survived by : her husband William Proctor; her children, Gloria MacDonnell (John), Cynthia Hayes, Virginia Whitman (Tony), Roderick Hayes (Michelle), Stephen Hayes and Christoper Hayes (Celestina); her brothers, Douglas Langille (Susan) and Robert Langille; and her siblings-in-law, Janie Trimper, Anne Proctor, Catherine Totten (Joe) and Walter Proctor (Janet). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
