She was predeceased by : her mother Lydia Lois Grant (MacPherson); her husband Samuel Stirling; her sons, Craig and Scott; her siblings, Elliott Grant and Ardella MacPhee (Dee Dee); her brother-in-law Murray Campbell; and her friends, Jane Palmer, Bernadette, Jim Kennedy and June Oliver.

She is survived by : her siblings-in-law, Pearl Grant, Robert MacPhee (Bob) and Anne Campbell; her children, Denise (Gavin Giles), Glenn (Sylvie) and Janine (Andrew Morrisey); her daughter-in-law Lesa MacPherson (Scott); her grandchildren, Therese, Danielle, Samuel, Michele and Marshall; her great grandchild Gabriel; her nieces and nephews, Juanita Wood, Kevin Grant, Kenny Grant, Janet Cunningham (Grant), Paul Grant, Barry MacPhee, Lois MacPhee, Bruce MacPhee, Murray Campbell and Douglas Campbell; and her friends, Hiram Street, Andy Palmer, Dave and Mary Johnston.
