Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marilyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald "Fergie" Ferguson and Mary Ferguson (Smith); her husband Daniel MacKenzie "Kenzie" Jones; and her brother Brian Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca and Jay of South Pasadena, FL; and her aunt Shirley Appleton (Smith) of Glace Bay.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (329 Reeves St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2R6). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
