He was predeceased by: his parents, Rod MacDonald and Ada MacDonald (Chiavari); his siblings, Colin and Carol; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Ritcey and Peter Barkhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Lori MacDonald and Nicole Burden (Philip); his grandson Liam MacDonald (Courtney); his siblings, Bill (Charlene), John (Pat), Shannon (Chandra), Mary Sheppard (Gordon) and Katie MacDonald; his in-laws, Jim Johnson, JoAnne Jellow, Norm Ritcey (Pat), Ed Ritcey (late Veronica), Barb Barkhouse (Frank), Jim Ritcey (Sandra), Robert Ritcey (Susan) and Jennie MacIsaac (Russ); George Paddon. He is also survived by Many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital or St. Martha's Regional Hospital Palliative Care.
