She was predeceased by : her father Fred Burke; her son Freddie; her husband Malcolm; her brothers, Herman Burke and Dan Willie MacDonald (Liz); and her cousin Louie Bissonnette (Camilla MacDonald).

She is survived by : her children, Stan (Tracy) and Mary MacDonnell (Joe); her daughter-in-law Wanda (late Freddie); her grandchildren, Chad (Candace), Jeremy, Jared (Allison), Keanan and Brady; her great grandchildren, Freddie and Nellie; her siblings, Catherine Cogswell (late Jimmy) and Jerry (Peggy); and her close friend Julia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
