He was predeceased by : his wife Emelie; and his son Johnny. He is survived by : his children, Maria McKenna (Peter), Catherine Nissen (Peter), Emilie MacDonnell (David), Harriet Neynens (Geza Szenes), Barbara Bryden (Ken), Martin, Jimmy (Sandra McMaster), Harry (Colleen Rankin) and George.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a service will be held at a later date.
