He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sparling and Gertrude Sparling. He is survived by: his siblings, George, Joan, Korena, Collie, Greg, Johnny, Dolores, Carol-Ann and Darlene; his wife Joan Sparling; and his children, Gary Sparling, Shawn Sparling, Glenn Sparling, Kimberley Borisavljevic, Lisa Prestidge and Bryan Prestidge.
