It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Meagher of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stanley Meagher to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Meagher and Helen Meagher; the mother of his children Jean; his wife Phyllis; his siblings, Annette Baker, Joe, Hughie, Milton, Colin and James; his siblings' children, Jason, Scarlette and Julia; his son-in-law Foster MacNeil; and his great grandchild Navi.
He is survived by: his children, David Meagher (Lana) of Dartmouth, NS, Debbie DeCoste (Gerard) of Fort McMurray, AB., Cheryl Thompson (Mark) of Fort McMurray, AB., Janine Meagher of Fort McMurray, AB. and Shelley MacNeil (late Foster MacNeil) of Fort McMurray, AB.; his grandchildren, Andrea (Rio), Keegan (Cassandra), Amanda (Marc), Evan (Ashley), Lindsay, Alex (Kyla), Riley (Kiera), Carly, David and Heather; his great grandchildren, Tiyana, Makayah of Kyree, RJ, Bibby, Clara, Ava, Carter, Weston, Willow, Ella, Aria, Presley, Marlee and Rizlea; his siblings, Lillian, Angela (Alfred), Francis, Leonard (Jeanette) and Wayne; his stepchildren, Natalie, Stephanie, Michael, Cory and Shawn; and his brothers-in-law, Norman and Chuck.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bayfield Cemetery (150 Bayfield Rd, Bayfield, NB E4M1A7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
