The passing of Stephen Jerome Howlett of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Howlett and Mary Kate Howlett (MacInnis); and his siblings, Catherine, Leo, Jackie, Donnie, Mary, Florence and John.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Howlett (MacLean-Hendsbee); his daughter Angie (Arnold McNamara); his grandson Zachary (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Tia and Xavier; his stepson Shane Hendsbee (Natasha Snow); his stepgrandson Ethan Hendsbee-Rankin; his siblings, Christena "Tena" and Bernie (Linda); and his brothers-in-law, Duncan MacLean and Ed MacLean (Gloria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1). A reception will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Parish Hall (138 Granville St, Bridgetown, NS B0S1C0).
