In loving memory of Thomas Alexander Chisholm of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who departed this world on January 28, 2026 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vincent and Anna Mae Chisholm (Beaton); his in-laws, Don (Liz), Greg (Marg), Eileen Brogan (Bob), Clifford and Ann Drysdale (Otis); and his nephews, Kevin Chisholm, Dr. Richard Chisholm and Robbie McNamara.
He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Malinda Parsons (Travis), Len (Pam), Coxheath, Sue Penny (Mark) and Eileen; his grandchildren, Alexandra Riach (Connor), Laura Parsons, Brandon, Katie Parsons, Cameron, Liam, Ryan Chisholm, Coxheath, Leah and Rebecca Penny; his great grandchildren, Danny, Evan Riach and Pinawa; his brothers, Harold (Francine) and Leonard (Pat); and his sister-in-law Rose Chisholm. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church (11 Church St, Richmond, Subd. A, NS B0E1J0). A reception was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riverdale Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Antigonish Palliative Care Society or the Whiteside Cemetery Fund.
