He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eileen and John Finlay MacDonald; his parents-in-law, Joseph Luc Chiasson and Helen Rose Chiasson (Poirier); his brothers-in-law, Jon and Ivan; his nephew Todd; his significant other Geoffrine; his children, Nathan (Danielle) and Jessica (Adam); his stepdaughters, Jennifer (Mike) and Lindsay (Dylan); and his siblings, Jacqueline Mac Donald (Jon), Rodney (Noella), E. I., Pam MacDonnell (Jackie), Patricia MacIntyre, John Angus MacIntyre (Sherri), Francis Mac Donald (Sandy) and Joyce Morrison (Ivan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Church (283 Main St, Port Hood, NS B0E2W0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (283 Main St, Port Hood, NS B0E2W0).
