With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leonard MacDonald (Port Hood, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leonard left this world on September 22, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Christie and Dan Lawrence MacDonald; his grandson Kirk MacIsaac; and his siblings, Margaret, Irene, Pauline, Mary Jeannett, Kathy, Hughena, Sandra, Donald B. Lawrence and Bert.
He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Tracy MacIsaac and Leonard Jr. (Little Judique); his grandchildren, Craig MacIsaac, Little Judique and Candace MacIsaac; his great grandchildren, Ava, Ella Glover and Savannah; and his siblings, Gerard (Elizabeth), Barbara Landry (Joey) and Donalda Picco.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Port. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (283 Main St, Port Hood, NS B0E2W0). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025.
