Theresa Louise Southern Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Louise Southern of Port Maitland, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theresa Louise Southern to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Upton and Mary Upton; and her siblings, Joseph, Johnny, Katherine "Kay", Margaret "Margie" of Ann and Rosetta.
She is survived by: her husband Murray "Buzz" Southern; her brother Douglas (Fran); her sister-in-law Sarah; her sibling's children, Darren (Carrie), Dwayne and Shawna (Brandon); her stepchildren, David and Darlene (Rob); her grandchildren, Jasmine, Katherine, Shaylie, Ben and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Everleigh, Xander and Grace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
