It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fayette Henley of Port Medway, Nova Scotia, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Roy Eisnor and Ester Ramsdell Eisnor; and her husband Irving Thomas Henley of Chelsea. She is survived by: her foster daughter Linda Henley of Dartmouth, NS; her pet Jillybean; and her great-niece Janina MacNeil (Gregory Clattenburg). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home (35 York St, Bridgewater, NS B4V1R2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chelsea United Baptist Church (1621 Port Medway Rd, Port Medway, NS B0J2T0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea, NS, the Victorian Order of Nurses or The Canadian Red Cross.
