He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Teal and Flora Teal. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Teal (Baker); his children, Deborah Frelick (Lee), Gregory Teal (Jacqueline) and Terence Teal (Sarah); his grandchildren, Andrew, Angela, Ashton, Tanisha, Jasmine, Nathalie, Jennifer and Jonathan; and his siblings, Gerald, Malcolm, Joan, Audrey, Evelyn, Dorothy, Gardner and Melvin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and, in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harold's memory to The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Cancer Society.
