She was predeceased by : her parents, Erland Palmer and Elizabeth Palmer; and her siblings, Sharon MacPhee and Gary Palmer. She is survived by : her daughter Liza Spencer (Shannen); her grandchildren, Sydney Spencer, Deven Spencer (Jessica) and Harrison Spencer; her great grandchildren, Wynter and Roman Spencer; her siblings, Sandra Gillett (Ki), Linda Gerrior (Ron), David and Brian Palmer; and her siblings-in-law, Clara Kane and Allan MacPhee. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife or the SPCA in honour of Barb's love of animals.
