With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Evelyn McStay (Porters Lake, Nova Scotia), born in London, London, who passed away on March 25, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Edward and Minnie Florence Mays (Crawford-Cunningham); and her brothers, John Charles (Jack), Pathfinder Force and Peter Mays.

She is survived by : her children, Rod, John Cameron (Michelle Baylis) of Lawrencetown Beach, Roderick Grant of Porters Lake and Jane-Anne (Rob Kight) of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Lindsay Eve (Chris Johnson) of Denver, CO, James Jonathan of Halifax, John Eric, Hayley Anne of Lawrencetown, Alexandra Nicole and Cameron Leigh (Kight) of Florida; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin (Fost) and Ella Jane (Johnson).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dawn's memory can be made to the Salvation Army.
