It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wayne MacKinnon of Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, born in Murray River, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles H. MacKinnon and Edna Hiltz MacKinnon (Beers); his stepfather Dudley Hiltz; and his siblings, Hector MacKinnon, Clarence MacKinnon, Jack Hiltz, Eddy Hiltz, Shirley Chartrand, Margaret Ann MacKinnon, Evelyn Hiltz, Ruth Hiltz and Jean Sangster.

He is survived by : his siblings, Marion Wintzer, Francis Nelson, Cathy Murphy, Joan Carroll, Carl Hiltz and Eric Hiltz; and his niece Deb Gould.
