He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnstone and Margaret Johnstone (Crooks); his wife Beth; and his sister Dale. He is survived by: his niece Sandy Sprague; his great-nieces, Sarah Bourque (Jessie) and Emily Nassar (Warren); his nephew Wayne Mosher; his brother-in-law Howard Mosher; and his sons, Tom and Stephen Johnstone.
