He was predeceased by : his parents, John Callaghan and Annie Callaghan (Grimes); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Burgess and Sheila Callaghan. He is survived by : his wife Joan (Sutherland); his children, Erin Callaghan of Dartmouth and Shawn (Trisha) of Stratford, PEI; his granddaughters, Molly, Maggie and Maisie; his siblings, Charlotte Burgess of Truro, Joan Reid (George) of Truro, Pius of Truro, Jack of Truro, Ann Higgins of Truro, Vernon (Barbara) of Truro, Theresa Hatcher (Jim) of Dartmouth and Paul (Barbara) of Halifax; and his brother-in-law Fraser Sutherland (Susan).

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions and limited space available at the church, we ask for immediate family members only. Everyone is welcome to join in attendance at the interment and to please remember to social distance.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.
