It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Gertrude Tattrie of Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Fleck and Gertrude Fleck (Levy). She is survived by: her husband Sterling Tattrie; her daughters, Tanya Tattrie (Mark), Shiann Barkhouse (Gus) and Amberlie Tattrie; her grandchildren, Daniel Tattrie (Tracy), Amanda, Samantha, Courtney (Holden), Katie, Claudia, Alexander and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Tanner and Reid; and her siblings, Janet Jones, Elsie Whyte (Peter), Saul Fleck (Barb) and Sandy Fleck.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0).
