He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Burns and Annie Burns; his wife Marie "Louise" (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Thomas (Marie Antoinette), Lionel (Mary Stella), Roger (Mary), Lucy Dora Aucoin (Clovis), Lorettea Aucoin (Joseph Edmund) and Bernadette LeBlanc (Arthur).
He is survived by: his sons, John "Anthony" and Eugene (Helen Gilbert); his grandson Eugene "Alexander" Jr.; his stepgranddaughter Cynthia MacDonald; his stepgreat-granddaughter Brendalee MacDonald; his sister Velma LeBlanc (Paul); and his cousins, Sarah Dozzi and Margaret LeBlanc. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
