Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Roland Wright Stubbert; and his brother-in-law Reg Austin. He is survived by: his wife Lorna Beverly Stubbert (McLeod); his children, Marlene MacDonald (Dan), Diane Budd and Jeff Stubbert (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Michael MacDonald (Ellen), Ben MacDonald (Bre), Allison Arsenault (Joshua), Katelyn MacDonald, Rebekah Cormier (Jonathan), Charlotte Tramley (Thomas), Daniel Budd (Jooyeon), Jared Budd, Mary Budd, Thomas Budd (Janet), Emily Thompson (Nate), Josh Stubbert (Tatiana) and Julia Stubbert; his great grandchildren, Landen, Jessica, Anna, Jillian, Phoebe, Rhys, Turner, Xavier, Noah, Elliot, Jack, Lucy, Dean, Elizabeth, Ruby, Theodore, Mackenzie, Luke and Izelyn; and his siblings, Carol Austin (Reg) and Allan Stubbert (Bonnie).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the The Meeting Place. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Don's memory may consider a donation to The Meeting Place to support their community outreach email protected, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of their choice.
