She was predeceased by: her parents, Alastair F. Mackay and E. M. "Trudy" Mackay MacDonald (Higginson); her sister Annie; and her nephew Jonathan. She is survived by: her siblings, Jean and Sandy (Ruth); and her siblings' children, Erin (Isaac), Alison (Wilf) and Alastair.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Adult Residential Centre (140 Sunset Ln, Pugwash, NS B0K1L0).
