We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 80, Franklin Walker McQueen of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, born in Brampton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kemp McQueen and Margaret Ann McQueen (MacDonald); his wife Etta; his close friend Muriel; his siblings, John, Jim and Dorothy; and his stepdaughters, Judy Moore, Mable Osborne and Mary Priebe.
He is survived by : his nephews, Don and Neil McQueen; his stepchildren, Tom Montrose (Chris), Harvie Montrose (Darlene), Westchester, Bonnie Osborne (Basil) of Brampton, ON, Steven Montrose (Mildred) of Seal Cove, NL, Eddie Montrose (Tamara) of Norris Arm, NF, Bruce Montrose (Marlene) of Doaktown, N. B. and Doug Montrose (Ashley) of Moncton, N. B.; and his stepsons-in-law, Charles Moore, Pearse Osborne and Bill Priebe. He is also survived by numerous grand babies, great grandbabies, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the East Cumberland Lodge or the Royal Canadian Legion, Peace Branch 60, Pugwash.
