He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Ferdinand and Howard Ferdinand; his wife Shirley Edith Ferdinand (Gilbert); and his siblings, Evelyn, Betty, Garnett, Douglas and Effie.
He is survived by: his children, David Ferdinand (Susan) of Pugwash, Brenda Vale (Robert) of Moncton, Patty Ferdinand (Dave) of Pugwash and Kevin Ferdinand (Misty) of West Pugwash; his grandchildren, Michael, Julie, Amanda, Mark, Colin, Allison, Alissa, Molly, Nikki, Peipei, Payson, Trent and Drew; his grandparents, Lucah, Everett, Isaiah, Joseph and Brooks; his siblings, Howard, Freddy, Gloria, Angel and Francis; his caregivers, Denise McGrath, Tammy Brown, Mary Ferdinand and Francis Ferdinand; and also Nora.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mundle's Funeral Home (10235 Durham St, Pugwash, NS B0K1L0). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the VON, the Cumberland Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia, or a charity of your choice.
