With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gilbert Allan of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 13, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Allan and Margaret Allan (MacIvor). He is survived by : his siblings, Ann Doucet (Maurice), Mary Lacelle (Vincent), Beryl Arab (Tom), Hester Allan, Max (Jessie), Bruce (Margaret), Silver (Edith), Doreen (Doug) and Mildred (Milard). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nova Scotia Nature Trust (https://nsnt.ca) or to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia (Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia).
