She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan Stone (Sampson) and Lawrence Stone; her brother Lloyd; and her brother-in-law Hughie. She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Francine River Bourgeois (Gary), Shelley River Bourgeois (Daniel) and Dennis; her grandchildren, Malorie (JP), Bryden (Haley), Landon, Kallie and Maggie; her siblings, Alice, Charlie Arichat (Glenda) and Ricky River Bourgeois (Sharon); her sister-in-law Jocelyn (River Bourgeois); her aunts, Kay Boyd (Catherine), River Bourgeois, Josephine Cavanuagh and New Glasgow; Vanessa Boudreau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the River Bourgeois Visitation Parlor (8133 Highway 4, River Bourgeois, NS B0E3B0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (287 Church Point Rd, River Bourgeois, NS B0E2X0).
