He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Carter and Mary Carter (MacPhee); and his siblings, Joe, Hughie, Margaret and Eva.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Carter (Lafford); his children, Robert (Janet), William (Melissa), Lawrence (Sandra), Virginia (Timmy) and Stuwart; his grandchildren, Aimee (Bryne), Kristina (Jason), CJ (Taylor), Dillon (Cory), Peter, Mathew (Greg), Justine, Channing (Tyson) and Charles (Vanessa); and his great grandchildren, Oakley, Ophelia, Payton and Everly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the River Bourgeois Visitation Parlor (8133 Highway 4, River Bourgeois, NS B0E3B0). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (9785 Grenville St, St. Peter's, NS B0E3B0).
