She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Burke and Maryann Burke (Hargraves); her husband William; her brothers, George, Pat Geffory, Joe and Edmond Mike; her nephew Stuart Hoeg; and her brothers-in-law, Rick Guarascia, William Roberts, Glenn Manthorne and Joe LeBlanc.
She is survived by: her daughters, Billie-Jo Agnew-Bishop (Stephen) of Amherst and Wendie-Marie Agnew (Adam Nordin) of Calgary, AB; her granddaughter Angel Anne Cole; her siblings, Sandra LeBlanc of Amherst, Theresa Manthorne of Amherst, Marjorie Guarascia of Amherst and David Burke (Linda) of Amherst; and her siblings-in-law, Fraser Agnew of New Glasgow and Brenda Agnew-Porter of River Hebert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (2921 Barronsfield Rd, River Hebert, NS B0L1G0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Cancer Assistance Fund or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
