He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mertin (Langille) and Lee Mertin; his sister Thelma Makela (Mertin); and his brother-in-law Robert Langille. He is survived by: his children, Rollie (Hilda) of Edmonton, Alberta, Bill (Sharla) of Ponoka, Alberta, Christine White (Tom) of Lacombe, Alberta, Charlotte of Sudbury, Ontario and Douglas (Jolie) of Lacombe, Alberta.; his sister Linda Langille of River John; and his brother-in-law Alan Makela (Gail) of Whitefish, Ontario.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
