It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elaine Johnson (River John, Nova Scotia), born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Corey Hartling and Marion Hartling (Gerrior); her brothers, Allister "Allan" Hartling and Charles "Chuck" Hartling; and her mother-in-law Evelyn MacNeil.
She is survived by : her husband John "Jack" Johnson; her children, Marjorie O'Laney (Chris), Donnie Muise (Ann), Daryl Muise (Candy) and Cherylin Johnson (Karl Sutton); her grandchildren, Kerri MacAulay (Chris), Jason O'Laney (Patrice), Tyler Francis-Muise and Danielle Gallant; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Josie, Lincoln, Finley and S'an Sulian; and her brothers, Corey Hartling (Judy) and Barry Hartling. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
