It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Catherine Elliott of River John, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gollan and Rosanna Gollan (Holmes); her siblings, Jessie, Annie, Bob, Iola, Irene, David, Lillian, Angus, Lloyd, George, Charles and Zelna; and her niece Valerie.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Bugs" Elliott; her sisters-in-law, Jessie and Gayle; and her pet Molly.
