It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Joseph Burton of River John, Nova Scotia, born in Arichat, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 21, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Carl Burton; his son Kyle; his siblings, Carl Jr. "Buster" (Donna) of Pictou, Aulds Cove of Pictou, Billy (Patsy) of Pictou, Preston (Lori) of Pictou, Garfield (Kathy), Brian (Threasa), Joan Richards (late Eldred) of Pictou, Shirley Landry (John "Theo") of Pictou and Darlene Fraser (Donnie) of Pictou; his pet Ruby; and his siblings, Larry "Sonny" and Jean Doiron. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in Russell's memory may be made to Palliative Care, Aberdeen Hospital.
