He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hartwell John "Jack" and Ida Louise Illsey (Fryer). He is survived by: his significant other David Conrad; his siblings, John "David" Illsey (Cecilia) and Barbara Louise Aasen (Dale); his nieces and nephews, Karen Kirton (Adam), Janice Burke (Brian), Patricia Aasen (Annie Courtemanche), Christopher Aasen (Marlene) and Michael Aasen (Susanne Hathaway); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maddison Aasen, Brittany Aasen, Joel Kirton, Myles Kirton, Justin Aasen-Courtemanche, Drew Aasen of Vancouver, BC and Jagger Rae; his sisters-in-law, Maryann McIntosh (John), Barbara Zinck (Barry), Reta Schrader and Jaunita Conrad; Katherine Kilfoyle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Rose Bay, Shepherd's Hill Cemetery, Riverport or to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
