It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony John Van Berkel in Sainte Croix, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Sr. VanBerkel and Johanna VanBerkel (Konings); his sister Ann Berkhout; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Berkhout and Frank Thomson; and his nephews, David Van of Sande and Kevin Van of Sande.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian (Landry); his siblings, Betty Thomson, Toosje Van (Casey) of Sande, Linda MacDonald (Frank), Ria Spee (Joseph), Mary Ball (Art), Henry (Elaine), John (Abbie), Leo (Joyce) and Adrian (Ann Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Gwen Alves Berkhout (Famie Landry), Francis (Paulina) and Joe (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the St. Croix Cemetery or charity of choice.
