He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Long (Connolly); and his brother Glenn. He is survived by: his father Clarence Long; and his siblings, Bernard (Ellen), Jimmie (Mary), Kenneth, Barbara (Henry Overmars) and Iris (Francis MacNeil).
