He was predeceased by: his parents, Zacharie Maillet and Charlotte LeBlanc; his wife Irene; and his siblings, Norman, Clifford, Ambroise, Bradford, Phyliss, Ambroisine, Arsène and Irene.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Maillet (Simone) of Salmon River, Kenney Maillet (Tesa) of Yarmouth, Debra Theriault (Yvon) of Little Brook, Donna Maillet-Mullen (Sterling) of Salmon River and Gail Maillet (Kevin) of Salmon River; and his sister Anne Higgins (Bob) of Massachusetts. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
