He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Schnare (Hamm); his parents, Hannah Schnare (Young) and Arthur Schnare (Sandy); and his siblings, Loretta, Arthur, Rhoda, Vera, Oliver, Leslie, Weldon, Nettie, Earl and Velma.
He is survived by: his daughter June; his son-in-law Alan; and his grandson Jeremy Dempsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
