He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa "Eva" Curran (Lee) and Calvin Lee; his stepfather William Curran; his son Joseph "Joey" Calvin Lee; his former wife Eileen Cadden; his siblings, Brian and Shirley Ouellette; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Ouellette and John "Lefty" Hewak.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Agnes Lee; his children, Karen Rose (Denzel) of Brampton, ON, Donna, Billy, Jimmy, Ronnie, New Waterford and Brian; his grandchildren, Charles Lee Smith, Krystin "Krys" Lee Smith (Bryanna Blanchet) of Sherwood Park, AB, Dakota, Jesse, Colton Rose of Brampton, ON and Candace Lee; his great grandchildren, Jamie Carita Smith, Mira Dawn and Ivy Ann Smith of Sherwood Park, AB.; his siblings, Rita (late John "Lefty" Hewak) of Sydney, Betty (Marty Martell) of Sydney, Donnie (Crystal) of Sydney, Calvin Jr. "Junior" (Pat) of Sydney, Bob (Cara) of Sydney, Terry (Donna) of Sydney, Ron (Patsy) of Ontario, Sydney River of Ontario, Allan (Pat) of Ontario, Barry (Sandy) of Ontario and Kevin (Carla) of Ontario; his stepsisters, Tonya Besso (Wayne) and Joanie Dingwall (Robert); his stepchildren, Wanda McLean (Brian "Beaver" McIaasic), Debbie Boutlier, Michael, Greg McLean of Virginia and Gary McLean; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Kyle McIaasic, George, Stephen Nitsch, Michael Jr. and Melissa of Virginia; and his stepbrother Lionel Curran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Grove Cemetery. A reception will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLellan Funeral Home (3188 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4K4).
