She was predeceased by: her parents, William MacKenzie and Ethel MacKenzie; her husband Nelson Anthony; her sister Elaine Murrell; and her siblings-in-law, James Garvin, Gary Murrell, Ivan Anthony, Dennis Anthony, Muriel Whynot and Yvonne Anthony.

She is survived by: her sisters, Beverly Garvin and Janet (Gary Fraser); her siblings-in-law, Deborah Anthony, Mary Anthony and Raymond Whynot; and her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Reid (Josh Muldoon), Mitchell Reid, Finn and Zoe.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Cemetery (1159 Campbell Hill Rd, Scotsburn, NS B0K1R0).

Donations may be made to the Bethel Cemetery Fund.
