He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar and Effie; his son Gary; his siblings, Daisy (Hurshman), Muriel (Mason), Dorothy (Westhaver) and Charlie; and his wife Willena.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie Carter (Mike), Kevin and Ken (Janice); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Julie and Cameron; his stepgrandchildren, Nevin of Sarah Lynn and Nicole of Sarah Lynn; his great grandchild Hailie; and his stepgreat-grandson Reece Saulnier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to William Black Memorial Church or charity of choice.
