Joan Leone Brennan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Leone Brennan (Shad Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Murphy and Hermance Murphy (Thibodeau); her husband Douglas Brennan; her siblings, Jack Murphy, Yvonne Schwartz and Elaine Grandy; and her great grandchild Brennan Dunnington.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Brennan (Ronda), Deborah MacKenzie, Eileen Brennan, Paul Brennan (Jeanette) and Shad Bay; her sister Pauline Bartlett; her grandchildren, Kate Brennan, Sam Brennan and Patrick MacKenzie; and her great grandchildren, Jax and Lucy MacKenzie.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church.
