She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred C. Nickerson and Vila E. Nickerson (Roop); her great grandchild Sean Welland; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Nickerson. She is survived by : her husband Elnathan "Babe" Doane Smith; her daughters, Carolyn Y. Sears (Michael Deschamp) and Cynthia G. Waybret; her grandchildren, Jonathan R. Sears (Tanya), Melanie S. Welland (Gregory), Becky C. Nickerson (André) and Tamara L. Waybret; her great grandchildren, Ryan Sears, Colin Sears, Bradley Welland, Sydney Nickerson, Cohen Nickerson, Quinn Nickerson and Natalie Welland; and her siblings, Paul Nickerson and Bonnie Malone (Richard).
