With solemn reverence, we commemorate Alva Goreham (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), whose life came to an end on October 23, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wordlow B. "Monk" Goreham and Janora A. Goreham Garron; his former wife Catherine "Kay"; and his daughters, Joanne and Jill.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Jean"; his children, Lois E. (Brass Hill), Ernest M. (Lower Clarks Harbour) and Andrew B. Clark (Kim) of Clark's Harbour; his grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) of Wood's Harbour, Falyn Goreham (Aaron), Joshua Toronto (Megan), Suzanne Goreham and Barrington; and his siblings, Wordlow and Rosemary Nickerson (Frank).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you raise a glass in honour of our loved one, preferably, his drink of choice, a nice glass of Crown Royal whiskey, buy a lottery ticket, or maybe play a game of cards…. Donations in Milford's honour, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund, or the IWK Children's Hospital.
