We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 90, Ben Richard John Pooley (Shelburne, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ben Richard John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ben Richard John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ben Richard John leaves behind.
He is survived by: his sister Jill Brandon; his wife Elizabeth; his children, Meg Goodmanson (Matthew), Allen (Kelly) of Bedford and Dartmouth; and his grandchildren, Teegan, Xander, Colton and Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ Anglican Church (29 Ann St, Shelburne, NS B0T1W0).
