Bessie left this world on November 5, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her father Wilbur S. Robart. She is survived by: her son Neil (Robin); her grandchildren, Margaret, Graeme, Alex and Scott; her great grandchildren, Austin, Archie, Logan, Katie and Elliot; her siblings, John Francis Buck, William Lewis Buck, Thomas Duncan Buck, Jessie Agnes Buck and Jean Elizabeth Buck; her sons, John David (Lynn), Wilbur Christian (Liz) and Lewis Cornelius; her mother-in-law Annie Blanche Robart; her child-in-law Robin Hall; and her grandchildren, Naomi, Tabitha and Kyle.

The years following the COVID restrictions, family members from away made sure to visit Mom each summer in Sable, culminating in a grand visit of all of grandkids and five great-grandkids in the summer of 2024.

Donations in Bessie's honour may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), the Hillside Cemetery in Sable River, and the Sable River Fire Department.
