It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleverly Winston Smith (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Smith and Mina Smith of Baccaro, NS.; his siblings, Almon, Esther, Gloria and Gerald; and his father-in-law Lamont Lovitt.

He is survived by: his significant other Joan (Lovitt); his children, Gerald (Michele) and Patricia; his grandchildren, Devin, Brianna, Kayla, Colby, Taylor, Jasmine and Rosemary; his great grandchildren, Olsson, Ashton, Evie, Bishop and Laken; and his mother-in-law Betty Lovitt.
