He was predeceased by: his parents, Joanne Hill and Gerry Hill; and his brother Rob. He is survived by: his husband Bernie Brown; and his siblings, Brian and Wendy.

He was the friend in our group who always took time to listen no matter what problems he was having, he made sure you came first. Kind, caring, compassionate, strong, brave and always a huge smile to accompany those qualities. I find comfort in knowing that you and Sue are there together singing and strumming.
